Horrible Bosses

A few days ago while watching T.V. a McDonald's commercial came on and a young girl who appeared to be an intern was given an assignment to get breakfast for her boss.  The boss seemed to be in a horrible mood and when the young intern explains that all the breakfast items that she had chosen were all under a certain calorie limit the boss smiled.  Just then the young intern looks at the rest of her coworkers and she makes a comment stating "she is in a good mood".  With that in mind I am sure we all have had a horrible boss at some time in our lives.  I am fortunate to have experienced a bad boss twice.  You know those bosses that you wait to see what type of mood they are in for you to determine what type of day you will be having.  Their attitude is the main contributing factor whether or not you will have an enjoyable day at work or not.

I am not certain if the bosses I experienced are just generally miserable or enjoy making people feel miserable because they enjoy treating their employees like the crud between their toes.  Or maybe they have been in this certain workplace for a long time that they feel entitled to treating other employees horribly.  Whatever the case is these types of bosses are horrible to work with.  It's a shame that they are the ones that determine what type of day you will be having.  You are literally living by their terms in the workplace.  This type of environment is something that should not occur.  Now, I know that we are all human and we all have things that we are dealing with that might be difficult in our personal lives but what happens in one's personal life should be just that....PERSONAL and no one should be at fault for what happens outside the workplace.

With that in mind I have included an article below that is an excellent tool for anyone who is dealing with a difficult or horrible boss. I hope you find the article enlightening and useful to making your daily encounters with your boss conducive to a better working environment.
